Now

Look at them now

J. C. Dunyach / N.Wilhelm

Many look up to the sky, many would learn how to fly,
Ready to travel afar with visions in their eyes.
But the wheel goes on too fast and all good things never last.
Icarus never saw the stars, he felt without a cry.

Look at them now, look at them nom
Their head in a cloud, they were so proud,
          Where are they now…

When the show has just begun, when the play is on the run,
The players never seem to fall, like any other men.
But the lights die in the end, all the stardust turns to sand.
And in the cold and empty hall their shadows still remain…

Sailors always seem so wise even when they tell you lies.
Their ships are ready to set sail, in search of paradises.
But the coast once out of sight, in the dark and stormy night,
The Flying Dutchman tells his tale of deception and cries.
